The Difference Between Traditional Web Pages and Blogs

One thing that I have learned about the differences between a website and blog is that websites usually stay the same, while blogs are changing/updating many times throughout the week.  Blogs are more of an open forum for communication that can be changed constantly, where traditional web pages usually stay the same for long periods of times.  Blogs are also set up so that the ‘readers’ can be notified if a blog is updated or added to, where websites normally do not have this capability.  Also within a blog, comments, posts, etc. are tracked and followed.  You can also post articles in your blog for others to comment on, allowing for a blog to be more interactive then a traditional web page.
